Where would be the best mountain camping in Georgia?

My friends and I were thinking of going camping this summer in a mountain with lakes, river, or waterfall..etc..
Its 10 of us, were all about 16 years old and we want to go without adults. Where could we go that won't be very expensive and will be very fun for crazy teenagers. We want it to be not too far from Atlanta, the most three hour drive..
We want to stay for two nights, we have tents..
How much would it cost overall?

lake lanier has some nice camping spots, but no mountains really. Amicalola Falls is very nice as well, i camped there last summer. couple hundred dollars tops

I agree with the previous answer that suggests: Lake Lanier and Amicalola Falls

I would also throw Hickey Gap Campground and Three Forks in to the mix. Hiking trails, restrooms, fishing, waterfalls, mountainous, and free.
